Are You Letting Self-Doubt Hold You Back?

Believe in yourself and start living the life you were meant to live

Beloved, you’re not alone. I know you may be struggling with self-doubt right now. Everyone feels it from time to time. But it's important to remember that self-doubt is a lie from the enemy. He wants to keep you from following your purpose in life.

But God has a unique plan for you. He wants to use you to do great things. He created you with a unique set of talents and abilities. And He wants you to use them to make a difference in the world.

So how do you overcome self-doubt?

Remember who you are in Christ. You are a child of God, loved and accepted by Him. You are forgiven of your sins and have eternal life. When you remember who you are in Christ, it gives you the strength to overcome self-doubt.

Focus on your strengths. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. But when you focus on your strengths, it helps you to believe in yourself. Make a list of your strengths and read it over whenever you're feeling down.

Set goals. When you have goals to work towards, it gives you something to focus on. And when you achieve your goals, it helps to build your confidence. Start small and set goals that you know you can achieve. Then, as you achieve your goals, you can set bigger goals for yourself. You have been equipped for your purpose.

Don't compare yourself to others. Everyone is different. And everyone has their own unique journey. Comparing yourself to others will only make you feel worse about yourself because we often look at the negatives before the positives. Focus on your own journey and don't worry about what others are doing.

Get help. If you're struggling with self-doubt, don't be afraid to get help. Talk to a trusted friend, family member, or therapist. They can help you to work through your self-doubt and build your confidence.

I know you can do this. God has a great plan for your life and I know that He doesn’t want you to allow self-doubt to hold you back. He has blessings in store for us we just have to allow Him to do the change in us. Remember, He always has our best in mind, just like we always have the best in mind for our children.

I usually don’t do this, but if this has helped you in any way or if you know anyone that could benefit from reading this material, please consider sharing this publication to friends, family or co-workers. I believe self-doubt has really hurt people from experiences and it needs to stop.
