Burnout and Faith
Do Not Push Through Fatigue

Here’s to a great start to the week EoF Community!
Hey everyone, it's Nick, and I want to talk to you about burnout.
Now, you might be thinking, "Burnout is just a buzzword. It's not real." But let me tell you something: burnout is real, and it's a serious problem.
Three out of five Americans (60%) grapple with burnout. That's a lot of people.
Burnout isn't just about feeling tired. It's about losing a sense of who you are. It's about feeling disconnected from God and from the people you love.
So what can we do about burnout?
First, we need to recognize it. If you're feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected, you might be experiencing burnout.
Once you recognize burnout, you need to address it. That means taking steps to reduce stress and reconnect with God and the people you love.
Here are a few tips:
Spend time in prayer and Bible reading.
Worship your church community or privately.
Spend time with loved ones.
Get enough sleep.
Eat healthy foods.
Exercise regularly.
Knowing when to say no (to not be drained)
If you're struggling with burnout, don't be afraid to reach out for help. Talk to your pastor, a counselor, or a trusted friend, or email me.
Remember, you're not alone. Burnout is a real problem, but it's one that can be overcome with faith and support.
A Personal note:
I know what it's like to experience burnout. I've been there. But I also know what it's like to overcome burnout.
With God's help, I was able to get my life back on track. I'm healthier, happier, and more connected to God than ever before.
If you're struggling with burnout, I want you to know that you're not alone. There is hope.
Reach out to God and to the people you love. Allow them to help you on your journey to healing and restoration.
You can do this. God believes in you and so do I.
May blessings come forth,
Nick
